Who knows....

I have work in about, a half hour. But all I can think about is afterward. I’m getting home pretty late tonight, well at least, late enough that it will be dark and I’ll probably be too tired to do anything THAT productive. But I’m thinking of starting my first real short film today. Obviously beginning with the script, but I really want to work on it, and get something done within the next few days. I’m really excited about starting my movies with my new video camera I got for christmas. It’s going to be a rough start, as it always is with me, but I mean, I have the eye for camera shots, and the creativity to write a decently intriguing story line. I’m really hoping that I’ve got the chops to make it somewhere in this film industry.

It all begins tonight.

So I got my camera, which hopefully will now lead to posts of my short films (if I can ever finish any of the scripts) by the early spring. I am real grateful for my awesome new camera and the tripod that my sister got me. This Christmas was definitely a major win in my book. I am headed out to Lake Tahoe in a few weeks, and can’t wait to take some video and pictures of the beautiful scenery, they will be posted on a day-by-day basis, so you guys have something to look forward to in the very near future. I know I have been lacking lately, but since I’ve been home from school, I’ve had work hardcore every day.

I definitely look forward to hopping back on the tumblr wagon in the next few days, keep your eyes peeled for new posts and some fun.

One of the things I was most excited for in going to school in Upstate New York, was the prospect of really long winters, with lots of snow starting in November. Since November, we’ve gotten two snow storms, both followed immediately by rain, ruining any prospect of having decent snow.

Right now, it’s pouring out. I hate it. All I want is a nice long, cold, beautiful snow storm. I need it is more like it. I want it to just snow all day for days at a time, and cover the entire area in a deep blanket of pure white snow. I want so bad to be able to go outside and just feel the cold, and revel in the light reflecting off of the piles of fresh snow.

I’m going to Lake Tahoe over the break, and I am very excited to hear that they already have more then two feet worth of snow. I hope that it just snows the entire time I am there, and that I can get my fix of snow while I’m there.
